Our journey began in 2023
Electric bike & electric balance bike for kids Established in 2023, and located in the Macarthur Region NSW, Southwest of Sydney.
GOBIKE is an Australian brand founded and managed by two mates.
Our desire to create an electric balance bike was inspired by watching our young kids enjoy riding other bike brands. (Honorable mention: Our kids had LPR and STACYC bikes.)
We began by buying various brands and modifying the bikes to make them faster for our kids. We sent one of our sons 16-inch STACYC bikes to H&S Motorsports in California (check them out if you’re in the USA) to get some extreme modifications. We were becoming addicted!
Over time, we realized how much joy these other- brand Electric Balance Bikes were bringing to our kids, and we wanted to be a part of it.
So, we thought, why not create our own brand?!
Before we knew it, our weekend hobby became a thriving business!

What We Envisioned:
Electric dirt bikes that kids could ride anytime, anywhere.
Bikes that “grow” with young riders as they gain confidence and skills.
Low-maintenance bikes with minimal running costs for family affordability.
Trendy, appealing, realistic-looking bikes.
The electric balance bikes available in the Australian market were either too expensive or didn’t offer enough performance.
Petrol dirt bikes were intimidating, high- maintenance, and risky for inexperienced riders and, therefore, not a viable option for first rides. Most of our kids rode electric balance bikes first, and then, at four years old, jumped on a Peewee 50 without hesitation and rode it without training wheels. They then jump on standard pedal bikes and ride with ease on the first go.

Backed by decades of expertise in product development and quality assurance, we set out to source our own electric balance bikes specifically for kids. We initially modified generic components like controllers, frames, batteries, suspension and motors to achieve the perfect balance of:
